Specific gravity is 1.70. Soluble in water and ethanol. Its acidity is weaker than sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, but stronger than acetic acid and boric acid.

Application
To enhance the translucency and luster of porcelain; as drying agent in the synthesis of various chemicals and dyes; as adhesive agent for dental cement; as anti-rust agent for metals; as coagulant for rubber latex; as additive agent in electroplating polishing and the manufacture. It is mainly used as material of various phosphate and phosphate fertilizers and extensively used as catalyst of organic synthesis, cleanser of the print industry and used in medical industry, food industry and preparation of chemical agent, etc.
